Ravage Skateboards

Posted by LCS

Ravage is a Singaporean brand that produces skateboards with some pretty freakish graphic designs. Freakish in a good way, the kind that makes you skate better. They released this design a few months back and you can find it for sale at Interstate and Boards & Stuff for $80 inclusive of griptape. Sizes currently available are 7.5", 7.625" and 7.75"  Check out Ryiot for more information.

should buy gs or lsp shop deck instead.

it depends, if youre really tight on a budget, go get a cheaper board. if you can afford and want to help one of the skate brands in singapore to improve and produce better work pieces for the community. go right ahead.

Can people please stop posting anonymously. Don't talk trash unless you willing to put a name to your words! "buy this! buy that!"

I think miz29 decks are blanks aren't they? Or are they graphic boards?

You can't compare the cost of a graphic board with a blank board.

Graphic boards are more expensive to manufature, paint, heat transfer, cost for artist or royalties and so on..

Also, I don't think anyone knows where LSP, Miz29 or Ravage get their decks made.

If you only care about price, and not quality, cool graphics, supporting a certain shop or group or people then just get the cheapest 40 dollar project deck.

If you care about graphics then get the best looking graphic.

Look at Interstate decks, I think their shop decks cost almost the same as a regular USA brand like toymachine.

And there is nothing wrong with different local brands pricing differently, they use different suppliers, have different images and artwork, and have different beliefs.

I think $80 for a local Ravage board is fine because they aren't a skateshop they are helping the skate community in a different way. Doing a local brand is a lot of hardwork and local brands are just as important as USA brands. Furthermore, the local skateshops don't just carry local brands for free, they also have to get a cut of the profits.

Eitherway, the more local and USA brands the better for you. More choice. All helping the skater community in different way.

btw, anyone know how much blank decks "gossip" decks at go sport are?
